Amandola is more or less centrally situated for visits to the Sibillini National Park.
The very friendly inhabitants of Amandola number about 4000 and they are known as the Amandolese.
Amandola is 550 m. above sea level and from certain vantage points offers excellent views of the Sibillini and surrounding countryside.
The town is known for its many family run artisan workshops making replica or restoring antique furniture.
